Upload a screenplay PDF or a Final Draft (.fdx) file. It's parsed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere. Scene number, INT/EXT, day/night, location, and cast (as initials) are detected from the heading and dialogue formatting — FDX files carry this as real structure, so it's more reliable there than the PDF page-position guesswork. Eighths is a rough estimate either way. A short description is pulled from the scene's action text as a quick reference for telling similar scenes apart — edit or clear it if it's not useful. Time isn't in the script, so add it yourself below if you want it. Review and correct everything, then add it straight to your board to start arranging it, or copy/download it to paste in yourself — nothing happens automatically until you choose. Real Location still isn't covered here — that stays a sheet edit.
